This project was a 1970s apartment in a grand Victorian building in Belgravia which needed to be decorated in a way that the owners could enjoy and relax in. When meeting the clients their brief was very simple: ‘light’. They were desperate for more light so we opened up the whole apartment and used a neutral palette whilst introducing muted shades of bronze. Being huge art collectors the neutral tones provided a perfect backdrop for the owner’s wonderful art. The finished apartment provides a relatively empty and peaceful space, with wooden floors going the whole way through, linking the rooms and the colours.
