Nina Campbell’s furniture collection features treasured favourites alongside innovative new designs. Each piece is custom-made, ensuring the quality of the craftsmanship and design, as well as the unique personalisation that have come to be associated with the Nina Campbell brand.
For Autumn 2011 Nina Campbell has introduced several new pieces to the collection. All pieces are made using British manufacturers, continuing Nina’s commitment to supporting Bristish design and industry. As all furniture is bespoke, upholstered pieces are available in Nina’s fabrics, or the customer’s own choice of fabric, as well as specially commissioned sizes.
The Evelyn desk chair is an adaptation of the original Dickens desk chair in Nina’s collection this time with a self returning swivel seat. It is more refined and can be bought with or without arms. This look means it is perfect as a dining chair as well as a desk chair. There is the added detail of a handle in the back. The arms, legs and frame of the chair can be black lacquer or dark mahogany finish.
The Enid desk is to join the Sylvia writing desk launched at Decorex last Autumn. Again this desk can double as a dressing table however we have been careful to design this more as a desk or writing table. It has two drawers and is very useful in a place where you may not have space for a huge desk but want something there you can write your letters on. This desk can be finished in any colour paint.
The Nancy is the first metal nest of tables in Nina Campbell’s furniture collection and again follows on from our ideas on space saving. The nest of tables was something Nina was finding hard to find for clients despite the demand so decided to design her own. These tables are perfect for a city apartment where space is perhaps a luxury. Available in antiqued lacquered brass or bright lacquered brass.
The Derek is un updated version of the Dudley bar stool with a self returning swivel seat. Slightly smaller, Derek has a curved foot rest rather than a straight bar for your feet which is more comfortable. It works across the board both commercially and privately and can slot happily into a large bar or a cosy breakfast bar at home. This stool fits between our existing Liszt barstool and Dudley.
The Handel stool is a twist on Nina Cambell’s original chopin bench and stool which were two of the earliest pieces in the furniture collection. This upholstered stool has shelf below, perfect for getting magazines and coffee table books out of the way when you want to put your feet up.
The Isabella occasional chair is perfect in a ladies dressing room, bedroom or either side of the fireplace. It is inspired by our original Lamartine which derived from a chair frame Nina found whilst antiquing. The height supports the back well and therefore makes it very comfortable.
